Week 8- Sharks Weekly Update: LAST ONE!

Good Afternoon Sharks,

What an incredible regular season! While we came up short against the Piedmont Tsunamis on Saturday, our team finished the regular season with an outstanding 6-1 record. We are so proud of everything this team accomplished this summer. From the youngest developmental swimmers to our oldest seniors, every Shark played a part in making this one of our most successful seasons yet!

This weekend was one for the record books with an incredible number of team records broken, including a new Prince William Swim League record!

Congratulations to our record breakers:

  • The Girls 13-14 200 Medley Relay (Hailey Sosinski, Maddie Scott, Peyton Elam, Madison Woodward) broke both the Dominion Valley Sharks AND the PWSL League record with a time of 2:07.63!
  • Brady Burke broke the Boys 11-12 50 Freestyle record with a time of 27.46.
  • Emma Young broke three Dominion Valley Sharks records:
    • Girls 15-18 50 Freestyle - 27.10
    • Girls 15-18 100 IM - 1:04.66
    • Girls 15-18 50 Breaststroke - 34.40
  • Madison Woodward broke the Girls 13-14 100 IM record with a time of 1:09.69.
  • Peyton Elam broke the Girls 13-14 50 Butterfly record with a time of 29.56.
  • The Girls 13-14 200 Freestyle Relay team of Peyton Elam, Hailey Sosinski, Brooklyn McGinley, and Madison Woodward broke the team record with a time of 1:56.83.
