Time Trials 2025 for the Developmental Team is this Friday, June 27, 2025 at 7 PM (time may change), at the Dominion Valley Country Club Pool (5350 Tournament Drive). Developmental Team Time Trials is open to Developmental Team Swimmers. Competitive Team Swimmers should not sign up for Development Team Time Trials. Declare your swimmers by clicking on Attend/Decline. All swimmers will be entered in freestyle and backstroke. Please be sure to click 'Job Signup' to sign up for a job at the meet to support this event. Here is the timeline for the event: 7 PM: Swimmers Arrive - Please check in with the coaches. 7:15 PM: Warm Up 7:30 PM: Time Trials begin 8:15 PM: Time Trials wraps up 8:30 PM: Complete, Clean up and help set up pool for Piedmont meet Saturday Remember: Sign up for volunteer spots in the 'Job Signup'. Sharkapalooza! Sharks pool takeover! It's going to be hot next week so join us for a pool party on June 25 from 6-9pm. We will have a DJ with fun music. Families are welcome. Cafe Splash will be open for a limited menu including drinks/adult beverages. All items are Member Charge. Please RSVP for your swimmer and any additional family members attending so we can plan. To ensure the safety of everyone and visibility for the lifeguards, we ask that you not bring large inflatables for the pool. Pool noodles are great. Hope to see you there! |

Sharks at the Movies

Join us for an afternoon at the movies! We will be watching How to Train Your Dragon. The cost of the ticket will be covered for each swimmer. Parents/siblings will need to buy their own tickets and concessions. It is $12.99 for non-swimmers. Payment can be made through the link below. The doors will open at 3 with the movie starting at 3:30 (no previews). The approximate end time is 5:40. Based on the size of the theater, the event is limited to 119 people. Swimmers and immediate family get priority. If space is available, it will be opened up to friends as well. This is not a drop-off event, and swimmers will need a chaperone. |

It's Picture Day! Olson Photography will be onsite again this year starting at 7 AM. We will start with a whole team picture then do individuals. Order forms will be at the pool. Pictures are done at the club pool. Please commit your swimmer. Please donate donuts and drinks for all to enjoy through the job sign up button! Wear your sharks suit and coaches should wear Sharks gear. We are in need of volunteers for this event. This DOES count towards volunteer hours if you can't help on Saturday's. Please note, there will be NO morning practice on picture day. Our website is www.olsonphotography.com ONLINE ORDERING ACCESS CODE IS- SWIM We will have some order envelopes at the shoot for cash and check orders only. But we do highly recommend ordering the pictures ahead of time. We will have photo slips for the families to put their order number on. The photo slip needs to be handed to photographer at the time they are having their individual or family picture taken. |

It's the first meet of the 2025 Swim season! The DV Sharks will take on the Kingsbrooke Sea Lions (Home Meet). Declare your swimmer and sign up to volunteer under job sign ups. With this new system, we are learning like you are and have found out to sign up for more than one concession item, you need to log out and log back in. This is a home meet, so we need a lot of volunteers. Food donations do not count as volunteer hours. Each family needs to volunteer for 6 events during the swim season. Time Trials 2025 for the Competitive Team is Saturday, May 31, 2025. Time Trials is open to ALL Competitive Team Swimmers. Developmental Team Swimmers should not sign up for Time Trials. We need times to seed meets and relays for Competitive Team Swimmers for the season ahead. Declare your swimmers by clicking on the green button that says Meet Entry. All swimmers will be entered in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly unless otherwise requested. Indicate in the notes section if your swimmer cannot attend the entire meet or if they cannot/do not want to swim a certain stroke. Please be sure to click 'Job Signup' to sign up for a job at the meet to support this event. Remember you must volunteer 6 times throughout the season. Please also consider donating concessions and sign up in the 'Job Signup'. We will have a limited menu at Sharky Cafe for Time Trials including our world famous waffles, bagels, ramen noodles, coffee, hot chocolate and various other snacks and candy. To register your swimmer(s), click on the event, then click the green button that says Meet Entry. Scroll to the bottom and declare your swimmer(s). To sign up to volunteer or to donate concessions, click on the green button that says Job Signup. Check the positions you want to volunteer for and then save assignments.
