Hello Sharks Families!

What an incredible week for the Dominion Valley Sharks! We are so proud of all of our swimmers for their hard work, positive attitudes, and outstanding performances both at practice and at our first dual meet of the season.

Congratulations to the competitive team on a fantastic victory over the Victory Lakes Piranhas this past Saturday! The Sharks showed tremendous effort, sportsmanship, and team spirit throughout the meet, and it was great to see everyone cheering each other on from start to finish. We would also like to recognize an awesome accomplishment by 9-10 swimmer Madelyn McGinley! Madelyn broke both the Dominion Valley Sharks and Prince William Swim League Girls 9-10 50 Freestyle records, as well as the Girls 9-10 25 Butterfly record. Congratulations, Madelyn! We are so proud of your hard work and dedication.

Looking ahead for our competitive team, we are excited to host our first home meet of the season this Saturday against the Braemar Blasters. Please make sure to declare your swimmer's availability by Tuesday evening so that we can begin building our lineup and relay teams.

Social Events:

There are no social events this week, but looking ahead to next week we will be hosting our annual Sharkapalooza pool party! Sharkapalooza will take place on Thursday, June 18 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Dominion Valley pool! Sharkapalooza is a fun evening where our swimmers get to spend time together, enjoy the pool, and celebrate being part of the Sharks family. We encourage everyone to attend!

Thank you to all of our swimmers, parents, volunteers, and coaches for another outstanding week.
